I am Vivianne Rogers, a registered nurse and a proud product of the Philadelphia Public School system, having graduated from Robert E. Lamberton High School in 1992. My healthcare career began with my certification as a nursing assistant from Entry Level LLC—Professional Nurses Training trade school.
While pursuing my nursing degree, I gained invaluable experience working as a nursing assistant at Stenton Hall Nursing Home and Methodist Hospital. My journey progressed when I was selected as a nurse extern at Pennsylvania Hospital in 2003, where I have since served as a registered nurse for over 20 years. My professional experience also includes several years as a psychiatric nurse with a local agency.
I am deeply grateful to the high school teachers who invested in my life. This experience ignited a passion within me for mentoring and advocating for our youth. My love for young people and my desire to provide them with the same guidance and support I received has become my driving force. It is with immense gratitude to our Heavenly Father that I embrace this unique opportunity to serve as an educator at Benjamin Franklin High School. I believe every child is a gift and a blessing from God, and I am committed to investing in their lives.
